These breakable geodes are a big hit with kids and adults alike!
A geode is a sedimentary rock that contains a cavity lined with crystals. The most common crystals found in our geodes are clear, sparkling quartz crystals. Use an old sock or a cloth to cover the geode, wear proper safety glasses, and finally use a hammer to break them open. There's no way to tell what's inside a geode until you break it apart - but that's the most exciting part!
Please wear eye protection and be safe while breaking.
The size of the stones vary from 3.0-5.0in.
